La Villa de Mazamet was a stand out of my 3 week travel in Spain and France. The hotel is a magnificently maintained 1936 stately home. The ensuite room was grand and immaculately decorated. Geoffrey and Janice were excellent hosts who have owned this masterpiece for 6 yrs and their passion shows. It is an easy and pleasant few minute walk to the town centre.

What a treat! We had a wonderful couple of nights here - taking some time out from our bike trip. The villa and rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the hosts charming, and the town itself is a delight to explore for a day or two - including nearby Hautpoul via La Passerelle. We would happily return and not hesitate to recommend.

La Villa De Mazamet is a wonderful resting place in a beautiful part of the world. Janice and Geoffrey make you feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are amazing. The service extremely personable. Would recommend to anyone coming to this part of the world. And am already looking forward to a return in the future

Our stay with Geoffrey and Janice was truly unforgettable! They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the Mazamet train station and conveniently close to supermarkets and multiple restaurants. That said, we highly recommend reserving the dinner course prepared by Janice. It was absolutely exquisite. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavour; we savoured every single bite and would gladly vouch for her cooking any day. The hotel also offers a fine selection of wines curated by the couple themselves, which perfectly matched our tastes. Our room was impressively spacious, with a bed so comfortable it rivalled, if not surpassed, those in many five-star hotels. The personalized, high-quality amenities added a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience even further. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we've ever had - worth every moment spent in their beautiful home. With only 4 to 5 rooms available, we recommend booking early. Huge thanks to Geoffrey and Janice for such a wonderful stay, and we can't wait to return!
