Alberta Hotel à val thorens

Hotel de montana con las habitaciones decoradas en madera. Las habitaciones no son demasiado espaciosas y el bano es extremadamente pequeno, pero el balcon con vistas a la montana y a las pistas de ski es increible. Los empleados son de 10 desde el momento que llegamos de madrugada y no deberia de haber nadie pero nos estaban esperando, tambien los trabajadores del comedor que se preocupaban en todo momento. El desayuno quiza un poco justo en variedad y cantidad ya que iban reponiendo muy poco a poco y siempre parecia que habia poca cantidad de todo. La ubicacion es espectacular ya que el hotel esta situado justo al lado de las pistas.

Thank you to Hendrick and his fantastic staff for making us so welcome here again. This was our fourth year of staying in this wonderful family run boutique hotel. We love the friendliness of all the staff, from the receptionist, restaurant and bar staff to our lovely floor housekeeper and of course, Hendrick is an exceptional host. Its location right on the slopes is perfect too! We highly recommend it to other guests! We sincerely hope to return again next year!

The Alberta is the most amazing place to stay right on the slopes. The staff are so friendly, the owner Hendrik is wonderful and it feels like a home away from home. You Must stay here if you come to Val Thorens !!

Sfeervol rustig hotel Alberta, prachtig gelegen aan de piste in Val Thorens. Vriendelijke staf. Kamers krap en bedden goed. Minpunten; de zeer gedateerde krappe badkamer en het matige diner.

Great hotel, right next to the slopes with lockers on the ground floor. The staff are fantastic, really helpful and friendly, especially on reception and the young man who mostly served us in the evening. Food was lovely. Would certainly recommend.

Todo perfecto, el dueno del hotel es super amable , las camas son muy comodas y el desayuno esta muy bien. Un 10 en todo !

Nous y avons passe 9 nuits en janvier 2026. Alberta hotel est un petit hotel tres agreable, avec vue magnifique sur les pistes et la montagne depuis certaines chambres et depuis la salle du petit-dejeuner et du diner. Le personnel est sympa et toujours aimable. Le buffet du petit-dejeuner est tres bien fourni avec de bons produits, les menus du diner sont toujours faits maison et excellents. Enfin, le spa (jacuzzi et sauna) est tres agreable et sa frequentation est bien regulee pour plus de confort. Le seul petit bemol : les chambres un peu petites a la deco un peu "passee" mais toujours tres propres (merci aussi aux equipes de menage !).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Alberta Hotel in Val Thorens, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. First of all, the location is perfect. Being right in the heart of Val Thorens made everything so easy and enjoyable. Whether it was heading out to explore, enjoy the snow, or simply take in the atmosphere of the village, everything was within reach. Waking up to such a beautiful setting every day was a real pleasure. The hotel itself is warm, cozy, and very well maintained, but what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, smiling, helpful, and sincere. Their hospitality felt natural and heartfelt, not forced at all. They were always ready to help with anything we needed and made us feel more like guests in a home than customers in a hotel. The food was exceptional. Every meal was delicious, carefully prepared, and full of flavor. It was clear that a lot of care and love goes into the kitchen. Dining at the hotel became something we genuinely looked forward to every day. Overall, Alberta Hotel is without a doubt one of the best places to stay in Val Thorens. The combination of its amazing location, excellent food, cozy atmosphere, and especially the wonderful staff makes it truly special. We left with beautiful memories and already know one thing for sure: we will definitely come back again next year. Thank you to the entire Alberta Hotel team for making our stay so memorable. We can't wait to see you again!

This is a lovely cozy slopeside resort. The staff are excellent and friendly and the cleaning crew do a great job. The half board is very good and we all enjoyed the nightly French cuisine and delicious breakfasts. We also enjoyed nightly visits to the spa. If you are a green-blue skier and are finishing your day in Val Thorens----- if you take Cascade lift then start on 2 Combes green, then go right on Dalles and right on Bleuets you can ski directly to the hotel door avoiding harder slopes. Avoid green Flocon as that is a flat trek and you half to cross a slope----exhausting!

The perfect hotel in Val Thorens! My partner and I had the privilege of staying at the Alberta Hotel over the last week and everything was perfect. Hotel rooms were great, the views were stunning and the spa area was lovely to enjoy at the end of a big day of skiing. The team at Alberta hotel was definitely a highlight. Everyone was very friendly, professional and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The various dinners we had throughout the week were incredible and definitely exceeded our expectations. Dinners were very different every night with multiple options for each course. The chef did an incredible job! We stayed in one of the village view rooms and despite not having a view of the mountain, it still had a great view with lots of natural light. We hope to visit the Alberta hotel again in the future! We could not recommend this hotel enough.
