Brittany Spa Cottages à Guemene-sur-Scorff

Our stay was too brief, this is such a lovely cottage in an idyllic position..it has all that you could possibly need and Aurelie made us feel so welcome and was there whenever we needed her. Thank you, we will certainly return

What an amazing place. We stayed in Jasmine Cottage and couldn't have been more comfortable. Aurelie is a lovely host and aims to provide all you need for a 'home from home' stay. The cottages are set within in a pretty courtyard and the location is very quiet and peaceful. A short drive or cycle will get you to local towns for supplies and a little bit further to the lovely lakes, canal & river. A perfect place for a relaxing holiday exploring Brittany. Definitely will return asap. Thank you

Pleasantly situated, quiet cottage, well equipped with plenty of helpful information and an excellent friendly host

What an absolute treasure. Our hostess Aurelie gave us a warm welcome and was always available if we needed anything. The cottage was filled with all the useful little extras that make the difference, from a basket of food goodies, jam and honey to a face mask in the bathroom. Honestly, it's like every thing a traveler could with for and a bit more. The location is rural and beautifully peaceful but a quick hop to Guemene-sur-Scorff for shopping or Pontivy for lunch; the coast is an easy drive too. Most important, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. It's a fantastic place for a break and we will certainly be coming back.

Absolutely lovely from start to finish. What a setting. Aurelie and Lahcene have thought of everything: provisions, information, suggestions... and with excellent communication throughout. Jasmine cottage is gorgeous and the private garden behind too (also great for Boules, especially with a glass of something...). Charming Gemene village has the essentials and the nearby Lake Guerledan and it's surrounding forest is not to be missed. A rare treasure.

We had a wonderful, autumnal stay in Jasmine Cottage. Aurelie and Lahcene and their children were such welcoming and generous hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The cottage itself was cosy and very comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. Aurelie had been in touch ahead of time to organise the extra bits of kit we needed as we have a toddler, which was much appreciated. We especially enjoyed having the wood burner on with a glass of wine in the evenings as well as having the use of the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful at this time of year and there are great walks nearby. The local villages are understandably quite quiet in the off-season but Pontivy is only a half hour drive for a bigger selection of shops and restaurants. We hope to return before too long.

J'ai passe un sejour extraordinaire. Les proprietaires sont supert gentils, accueillant, et ils prennent soin de leurs clients. Le site et magnifique et reposant. Je vous conseille vraiment cet endroit.

Great place, very peaceful and clean

I couldn't recommend Brittany Spa Cottages enough! My husband and I, plus our 16 month old daughter had a wonderful stay at Jasmine Cottage. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and the little extras (such as the option to have a cooked meal on arrival) were much appreciated. Simon is a lovely host - always happy to help and advise, but also respects your privacy. The cottages are set in a beautiful and quiet, rural location but there are lots of nearby attractions, towns and beaches. We'd like to return to explore the area more in future! Many thanks Simon!

Peace, comfort and a wonderful host. We absolutely loved our time in Orchid Barn cottage, a week wasn't long enough. Simon was a wonderful host who went out of his way with lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay special. We will be back!

Great place to stay, very quiet, very central so nothing that far away in any direction. Excellent hosts, lovely clean and well appointed cottages with plenty of private space if needed. Provision of an arrival meal is a welcome addition and really good value and quality. If you enjoy cycling but can't bring your own bike there is a selection available at no extra cost. There is also a hottub to relax in after a busy day sightseeing.

We have just returned from the most relaxing 3 days in this most tranquil of settings. (Sept 2018) We stayed in Jasmine Cottage, a beautifully appointed cottage. Every conceivable comfort has been thought of, from the welcome goodies to the supply of Bath robes, spa towels and slippers. The proprietors Simon and Penny live on site in their equally gorgeous farmhouse and unobtrusively ensure that your stay is everything you want it to be. The cottage is ideal situated to explore the many pretty villages and towns which have stories to be told. Alternatively the countryside is stunning with a plethora of beautiful walks to be taken, many of which offer the reward of a well deserved coffee and pastry at the end. After your exploration you may want to take up the offer of a prepared midweek meal, expertly prepared for you by Penny. We had the Beef Bourguignon (as an arrival meal) - delicious. Whilst you heat your meal relax by the log burner or treat yourself to the hot tub and gaze at the abundance of stars in the sky above. Look in the right direction and you'll even see Mars! If you are wanting to recharge the batteries, have a romantic weekend or like us a relaxing weekend with friends, you can achieve it here, you won't be disappointed and like us are likely to be planning your next visit, before you've even left!

We have just returned from a lovely week staying at Brittany Spa Cottages. The cottage is beautiful as are the gorgeous gardens. Penny and Simon are the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful but in no way intrusive and were so welcoming to our children. Great location for exploring and would highly recommend a stay here.

What a beautiful and peaceful place! We had a great time for one week. Penny and Simon are so fantastic hosts, lovely, helpful and friendly. And Penny's chocolate cake is excellent. Thank you for it. The cottage is wonderful and friendly, very clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We stayed (3 adults) in the Jasmin Cottage, the 2 bed room Cottage. Both Cottages have their own private garden. We can absolutely recommend this cottage. And a recommendation: dinner in the ,,Bistro" in Langoelan, the litte village near the cottage - a reservation is necessary... Thanks for all and a lot of friendly guests for Penny & Simon.
