La Maison des Courtines à Beaune

This was a wonderful spot tucked away on a quiet street in Beaune. The room was lovely with a kitchenette and a large bathroom and living area. The AC was WONDERFUL especially on such hot days. Overall it was a great stay, but the only thing less than ideal was the noise. The floors were VERY creaky and loud. It felt like you were waking up everyone in the house if you had to walk to the bathroom in the night. It was also loud during the day if other guests were home, you could hear entire conversations from other rooms. I understand that this is an older home so the noise makes sense, but just something to consider if you have a child or if you're a light sleeper.

Excellent location. Easy walk to shops, bars, cafes. Also near the wall that surrounds the town. Classic furnishings, comfortable beds, nice people. Loved the morning basket of fresh croissants, baguette, jam, Nutella, honey, yogurt, juice and coffee makings. Perfect for your stay in Beaune.

Our stay at La Maison des Courtines was nothing short of amazing! The room was so cozy, and the inn is very centrally located. The staff was very responsive and attentive to our needs. I fully recommend this place as a base for all things Burgundy, and I cannot wait to stay here again.

We had the studio. It was extremely clean and well equipped. Everything was spotless. Service was very friendly. The only area for improvement was that they were having some issues with the A/C so it would alternate between working and not, that said we would leave the window open at night which was lovely. Again, this is a timing issue in that once fixed the studio gets a perfect 100%. Highly recommend staying there.

We loved this place. A mere 500m / 8min walk from the train station. Pretty much a 5-10 min walk to anything within the old walls and the wine bike paths. The room was spacious with a surprising amount of amenities (kitchenette with dishwashing machine, range, toaster, coffee machine, and hot water pot) as well a washer / dryer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful with great recommendations.

Excellent choice in Beaune if you want quiet and serene location while having easy access to the center. Natalie was great in accommodating our needs for the stay. Highly recommending!

Quaint, but comfortable. A little trouble with the air but the weather was so nice we slept with windows open. Great location. You can walk anywhere.

We were greeted when we arrived and the host was gracious and helped with our luggage. He clearly explained the rules and pointed out the features of the arrangements. It is easy to walk to places in the city. The room has a small fridge that held water and a free bottle of cremant. There is an induction cooktop, convection oven, a Nespresso machine, pots, pans, plates, flatware. A table is well suited for 2 people to dine. A dishwasher and washing machine are also in the unit. The washing machine is also a dryer, but I found it was better to hang things to dry them. Downstairs there is a reception room with places to sit and an honor system bar with more wine. The bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom has a shower with 2 different shower heads and plenty of hot water. There is a closet with space to hang and shelves. The room has a fireplace, but I didn't look at it. More important is the a/c unit which worked great to cool the room. Both windows can be opened to let in fresh air. One negative probablem is the wi-fi is slow. Also, my corporate laptop requires a VPN and the laptop reported it could not connect. My phone's VPN could connect, but then nothing would load. I had better luck using 4G connection with my phone VPN, but work with my laptop was impossible. In case it matters, there is no elevator and you must navigate steps to get inside the building and to reach the rooms on the second or third floors. There is pay parking available across the street from the property and there is 24/7 free parking lot a short walk away at Jardin Anglais. I recommend parking in the free lot as that puts you on a main road with easy exit from Beaune. There is a bus stop in the same area as the free parking and it costs 1 euro to ride. No trams or metro. We used Bolt app twice to book rides and it cost 14 euros both times. There is a farmers market on Saturday that is a must visit. We picked up food and bread and had a lovely dinner for much less cost than going out. A grocery and boulangerie are close by along with many restaurants and shopping.

A really wonderful stay at La Maison des Courtines, hosted by Patrick. The accommodation is great and really well-equipped. It is in a fabulous location, walking distance to everything. There is free parking very close by and Patrick was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and bookings. All in all a lovely few days in Beaune

When we imagined a hotel in Beaune, La Maison de Courtines was what we pictured before we'd ever seen it. Tucked quaintly into historic Beaune, the hotel is located in a beautiful 18th Century home. We stayed downstairs at the ground level in a room called Les Perrieres. It features a comfortable bed and nice bathroom and kitchenette. Parking was convenient an we couldn't have been happier. Everything in historic Beaune was easily walkable for the Maison. Patrick, Clements father, arranged to meet us at our arrival and suggested a restaurant for the evening and even called ahead to make sure it was available that night. He and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. Honestly, it was a perfect stay. Thanks for your hospitality!

Superb accommodations close to the center of Beaune. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Friendly staff who are available when needed and eager to assist. Love the big rooms and homey feel. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Zeer hartelijk ontvangst met een fles cremant Meteen een warm en welkom gevoel. Het appartement is prachtig, ruim en ligt perfect in het hart van het centrum van Beaune. Alles was aanwezig voor een comfortabel en ontspannen verblijf. Een super ervaring, tot de volgende keer!
